Dr. Michaela Baker

Hi y’all, I’m Dr. Michaela Baker! I recently graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) College of Veterinary Medicine cum laude, and am excited to have recently joined Animal Hospital of Colorado Springs Team! I grew up in Alpharetta, GA, and earned my Bachelor of Sciences in Fisheries and Wildlife at UGA as well.

My favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is getting to experience the bond between pets and their owners!

I also am interested in soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, preventative care, ultrasonography, and exotic species. My husband, Thomas, and I have one old spicy Pomeranian named Taz and two precious cats named Shrimp Po’Boy and Shrimp Scampi. We came all the way out to Colorado to enjoy the outdoors! Hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, camping.. we love it all!
